The RYA and the British Sailing Team would like to invite all members of Weymouth Sailing Club to The Sail for Gold Roadshow at WPNSA on Sunday 14th August 2016.
Also the RYA and the British Sailing Team would like to invite the young sailors of Weymouth Sailing Club to a Sailing Masterclass starting at 2.00pm.
The programme of activities for the afternoon and early evening is outlined below. All the activities are free and there is no need to bring any sailing equipment other than your personal sailing kit.
It would be great if our young sailors with their families could stay after the Sailing Masterclass to watch the live footage from Rio on the big screen in Spinnakers Bar of the Windsurf Medal Races, wave our flags and cheer on Bryony and Nick!

The sailors will talk about their experiences and how they progressed into the British Sailing Team and then hold a Q&A session, so visiting young sailors may like to have questions prepared.
Sailing – 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Change and onto the water using dinghies from the Andrew Simpson Sailing Centre. There will be team racing activities alongside some fun races. British Sailing Team Sailors will be afloat joining in with the sailing activities. No dinghies are required just your own sailing kit.
Barbeque from 4.00pm (not free!)
Rio 2016 Medal Race viewing 5pm -9pm
Big screen viewing of the Rio Sailing Medal races, everyone is welcome to attend. The British Sailing Team sailors will be in attendance.
