Snakes and ladders at the Summer Regatta

IRC3 after the start

Again light winds were the order of day at last Sunday's one-day mini regatta. Racing started on time for a windward/leeward course with a SSE wind no more that 6 knots.

Windshifts and windless holes taunted yachts in both classes, whilst zephyrs from behind brought those that seemed out of the game back into the mix.

The first race end after an hour by midday and from then on there was no sensible breeze to run the next 2 races.

Winners are Kolibri in IRC4 and Jo 90 in IRC3.

Despite the minimal amount of racing the format proved popular and will be repeated later in the season.
