Once again the Jubilee Cup was held in glorious conditions - sunny F4-5 from WSW - perfect Weymouth conditions. All classes started together for Average Lap Racing which was a laid trapezoid course.
This race is in aid of the RNLI and entrants pay a small fee to take part.
The first boat on corrected time was a Merlin Rocket 'Twice Shy' sailed by the versatile team of Mike and Penny Fenwick ! Despite being a second early at the start and having to go back the first cruiser was MGC27 Folio sailed by Chris Olding and team. The Squib fleet experienced close racing with many place changes throughout the race - the winners were Paul Withers and Peter Jackson on Aldebaran.
