Things that go bump and grind in the night

Celia Rushton emerges out of the icing sugar after bobbing for sweets

Halloween, All Hallows Eve, Festival Of The Dead, Summers End Festival or whatever you want to call it, was celebrated Saturday evening at the club

Witches, ghouls, ghosts, pumpkins, wizards, zombies and the commodore crammed into the club and enjoyed games such as apple bobbing, sweet bobbing and hide the sausage.

There was a fancy dress parade for adults and children and after a sumptuous buffet and suitably decorated cakes, it was all down onto the dance floor.

Doctor Barry Sherston amazed everyone with his magical laser show and then proceeded to choke party go-ers with his smoke machine.

Even the bar staff joined in the fun (un) suitably dressed as blood splattered medics.

Three year old Tilley (Rima's grand daughter) stole the show as Wednesday Addams, playing her part along with mum, dad and brother as the fictional American family.

Jez Reece 'oranged up' and came as a pumpkin whilst Linda Ronnane pulled out all the stops as a siren of a witch.

Such was the success of the event that people are already talking about next years costumes and games.

Thanks must go to Deo, Josie and Linda who decorated the club Saturday afternoon, to Debbie Bowers who made the trimmings and Mark Bugler who lent his sound system whilst the club's is being utilised by the R.N. in Gibraltar!
