This is the third year that Weymouth Sailing Club members have celebrated Saint Agatha’s Feast – she is the Patron Saint of breast cancer. A superb feast prepared by Pete & Ali was followed by a raffle of stupendous prizes donated by O’Three, Perry Marine, Bussells Chandlers and several members of the club. She Taylor had donated a Ladies Musto Jacket which was auctioned to the highest bidder & Chris Wilson made a busty cake which was also auctioned. A big vote of thanks to all who gave so generously – even those who escaped Weymouth for the weekend were not safe with phone bidding being accepted & IOU’s honoured.
Next charity venture – a stall at Beaulieu Boat Jumble in aid of Macmillan Nurses on 29th April– give us your jumble to sell ( if it is pricey we can take a donation) or drop by our trunk trader stall & for a donation we will return your goodies to Weymouth.
Thank you for your continued support. Kay Stibbs
