As the weather (hopefully!) improves, the thoughts of cruising sailors turn towards those favourite coasts and ports, where sky and sea are blue, and the breeze is warm...
I find that photos rarely capture the beauty of a scene - a problem solved by Liz Bowers, crew and resident artist aboard 'The General', whose sketchbook contains these lovely watercolour studies and ink sketches of places she and Steve have visited, which I feel merit a wider audience - they certainly make me want to sail off immediately into the sunshine!
