Cruising Evening This Saturday, Feb 1st.

Gateway to better weather - lighthouse at the top of the Chenal du Four in calm weather

Deauville, Douarnenez or Dartmouth - whatever your destination this year, why not come along and join in the annual Cruising Evening at the club, starting at 7.30pm. We will not be doing food this year, though the bar will be open, and the evening will consist of a number of short presentations on various aspects of cruising, reports from last year, with lots of photos to look at.

There will be plenty of time to quiz people on the best way into l'Aber Wrac'h or the best time to go round Cap Barfleur for St. Vaast, or any other questions you may have about the delights and trials of the noble art of cruising.

Bring along the thing you wouldn't be without (eg small tenon saw) and explain why you carry it (best thing for cutting polypropylene rope off your prop!)

We look forward to seeing you there.

Steve Fraser
Cruiser Class Captain
