The 'Cimbri' Challenge, Sunday 11th May – 1230 start.

Almost round - Pulpit Rock and the daymark are the two ends of the famous 'Bill'.

There is an amendment to the Sailing Instructions for the traditional bash round the Bill this Sunday, which brings the Spring Series to a close, but also kicks off the new Sunday trophy race series, which is aimed at 'pushing the envelope' by providing more offshore courses.

The slightly later start time of 1230 will fit in better with the tide, as it promises to be a fast race in good breeze! The start will be on the club line between P and Q on VHF9, and the course will be RsMpYpPp, boats to time themselves in. Lifejackets will be worn.

So if you fancy joining a boat, there are crew spaces – just ask at the club beforehand. The more the merrier!
