The final drawings for this project, with scale models of boats, should be on display in the Longshed and on the club website by the middle of this week for members to inspect. The latest General Committee Minutes state that the aim is to accommodate 27 boats, with access being easier in many cases than at present.
Now you will be able to inspect the project for yourself and raise any questions you have either on the club website, or at two Q&A sessions, on the 3rd of June at 7.30pm and on Saturday the 14th June after racing. The business plan will also be made available to members as soon as it is complete.
It is obviously important that members familiarise themselves with the details of this important development, the most expensive in the club's history; it is anticipated that the final vote will be taken in Committee after the renewal of the water lease, which the Minutes suggest could be as soon as August.
