Weymouth’s Sam Mottershead (aka Super Sam) teamed up crewing with one of the Merlin Rocket fleet’s top sailors - Olly Turner - to win the weekend Starcross YC silver tiller event. It all came down to the final race and a win was delivered in style.
An 8th place overall for Phil and Ali Ashworth saw them in the middle battling hard.
