The January winter walk took place today starting at the Swan Inn , Abbotsbury with 11 walkers and 2 dogs.
A cold SW gale led to a “shorten course” and change in the route . We walked up Chapel Hill then along the Chesil Beach. The recent rains led to floods on the coast path making it rather slow going. A quick walk inland and coffee at Abbotsbury “subtropical” gardens allowed us to finish the walk just before the rain. The Swan did well with a good range of food. Next walk scheduled Sunday 12th Feb 2023 (NOT 5th)
