The Club Crane
One of the most valuable assets of WSC is the Club crane and this week a team of volunteers, led by Peter Staff and Mike Saunders have dropped the jib and with the help of a 'cherry picker' have been repainting and doing essential maintenance work.
We like to show the work done by our unsung heroes from time to time and we take this opportunity to say 'thank you' to them for working all week in very windy conditions.
The older members of WSC are always quick to take the rise out of themselves in the Coffee Club articles in the Newsletters, but this photo shows that they are still putting in a good day's work and helping the Club doing very valuable work.
The Crane is now back in action.
